Jörg Rocholl is professor of finance, President of ESMT, and holds the Deutsche Bank Professorship in Sustainable Finance at the FUTURE Institute. Jörg has an extensive research track record in corporate finance, corporate governance and financial intermediation. His current research agenda in the area of sustainable finance focuses on climate finance and biodiversity. As such, it speaks to numerous SDGs including SDG 7: Affordable and CleanEnergy, SDG 15: Climate Action, and SDG 15: Life on Land. His research has been published in top finance journals including the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies. Jörg holds a PhD from Columbia University.
